Tour Details

Lake Titicaca is one of the most beautiful and mysterious places in the world. It is the highest navigable lake in the world and is located in the Andes Mountains, between Peru and Bolivia. It is home to the beautiful islands Uros and Taquile.

Uros is an artificial island made entirely of totora reeds. The Uros people have been living on the islands since pre-Incan times and are still living there today. They use the reeds to build their homes, boats, and other objects. The Uros people also make a living by fishing and selling crafts to tourists.

Taquile is a small island located about an hour away from Uros. It is home to the Quechua people who have been living on the island for centuries. The people of Taquile have a unique culture and traditions that have been passed down through generations. They are known for their weaving, which is considered some of the best in the world.

Both Uros and Taquile offer visitors the chance to experience a unique culture and to learn about the history and traditions of the people who have been living in this area for centuries. A visit to Lake Titicaca is a must for anyone looking to experience the beauty and mystery of the Andes Mountains.
