one of the deepest canyons in the world, taking the road to Yura, bordering the snowy Chachani towards Pampa Cañahuas (National Reserve of Aguada Blanca and Salinas) habitat of the beautiful South American camelids vicuñas. In the bofedales of tocra we can appreciate a variety of migratory birds, among which are the flamingos. We will pass through the crater of an extinct volcano (Chucura). We will stop at the viewpoint of the volcanoes known also with the viewpoint of the Andes, the highest area of the road (4,800 m.s.), from where we will appreciate much of the western mountain range.
After our breakfast we will go to the viewpoint of the cross of the condor, strategic point of observation of the colca canyon and the spectacular flight of the condor. In return we will stop in the towns of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque; that have beautiful colonial churches, as well as in the viewpoints of choquetico and antahuilque, from where we will observe the impressive andenería of the valley, the tombs and pre-Inca scale models. Lunch in Chivay and return to the city of Arequipa, arriving at approximately 5:00 pm.
