Cusco hotel transfer
07:00 am
Around 7:00 am, we’ll pick you up from your Cusco hotel. After that, we’ll travel to the Pisac archaeological site in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On a mountainside, Pisac looks down onto the Urubamba river. We will tour the Acchapata terraces, the Pucaras watchtowers, the Inca neighborhoods of Intiwatana, Tianayuc, K’alla Q’asa, Pisaq’a, and Qanchis Raq’ay after we get to Pisac.
Following our tour of Pisac, we’ll continue on to Urubamba town for a buffet lunch. Urubamba is situated in the Sacred Valley of the Incas’ warmest region.
We will visit Ollantaytambo, an Inca site, after lunch. Ollantaytambo was a royal residence and an Inca temple, similar to Pisac. You may see several enormous stone blocks close to the construction site because some parts of Ollantaytambo were never built.
We will board a train to the town of Aguas Calientes after exploring Ollantaytambo. When we get there, one of our staff members will take you to your hotel room. After that, you’ll have some free time to stroll around town and check out its well-known hot springs.
Early in the morning, after breakfast, we will take a bus to Machu Picchu. After that, we will go through a few security checks before going into the citadel. Then we’ll begin our guided tour of Machu Picchu.
You will visit Machu Picchu’s most famous sites, such as the Sun Temple, Intihuatana, and the Temple of the Condor, among other Inca wonders. Our personnel will direct you to the appropriate entry if you have a ticket for either Huayna Picchu Mountain or Machu Picchu Mountain.
Following the tour, we will take a bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have time to go to a nearby restaurant for lunch. The cost of the tour does not include lunch. We will take a train to head back to Ollantaytambo later in the afternoon.
You will be transferred from Ollantaytambo to Cusco city, where you will arrive at around 10:00 p.m.
