Cusco is a city in southeastern Peru, located in the Andes Mountains. It is the capital of the Cusco Region and the Cusco Province. It was once the capital of the powerful Inca Empire, and today is a popular tourist destination known for its colonial architecture, Incan ruins, and stunning natural scenery.
The city itself is a mix of old and new. The old city, known as the historic center, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is filled with Incan ruins, colonial churches, medieval streets, and traditional markets. The new city has modern buildings, restaurants, and hotels.
The surrounding area of Cusco is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in South America, including the majestic snow-capped Andes Mountains, the deep valleys, and the lush Sacred Valley. The area is also known for its unique wildlife, including llamas, alpacas, and condors.

We shall meet 15 minutes prior to leaving at our office. Your tour guide will quickly inform you on what to anticipate from the open bus trip. Then you will go via Cusco’s cobblestone streets to our special open-top bus station. Driving through Cusco’s historic district will be the first stop on the tour. While our guide describes the significance of each landmark in the city, you may relax and take it all in.
A few well-known ancient sites, including Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, and Puca Pucara, will be passed as we travel. Although we won’t be stopping at these locations, the bus will provide you a panoramic view anyway.
We’ll stop at a shamanic center on the way back to Cusco. There, an Andean shaman will perform an Incan rite using coca leaves to honor the soil, mountains, and nature for giving us life. After that, we’ll make a visit to a facility for weaving alpaca wool, where one of the employees will explain the differences between the various kinds of wool to you. Following your visit to this location, you will understand how to identify authentic alpaca fiber.
We will stop by the all-white statue of Christ that is perched on a hill overlooking Cusco before the journey comes to an end. You can obtain breathtaking views of Cusco from here. The Cusco sightseeing bus trip will eventually come to a conclusion as we travel back to our bus terminal.
